New Delhi: 'Padman' Akshay Kumar has some great plum deals for the coming year. With films like 'Padman', 'Gold' and Rajinikanth starrer '2.0' lined-up for 2018, it can't get any better than that.

'Gold' is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani-Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment. The film stars Indian television's popular face Mouni Roy as the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar. She is making her big screen debut with 'Gold'.

The shoot has been wrapped and Mouni took to Instagram to share the fun clicks from the sets of 'Gold'. The film is based on life of hockey player Balbir Singh Sr, who was on the team that won the first Olympic medal for India as a free nation in 1948.
