Ayushmann Khurrana's Badhaai Ho is unstoppable at Box Office

New Delhi: Time and again, it has been proved that in Bollywood, content is king! Many films have done remarkable business owing to its off-beat and good content. Films like 'Stree', 'AndhaDhun', 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' have raked in huge moolah.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer 'Badhaai Ho' is all set to join the league of films that have done remarkable business at the Box Office owing to its content. The film hit the screens on October 18 and has received a thumbs up from the audience as well as critics.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest business collections of the film on his Twitter handle and wrote, "#BadhaaiHo is UNSTOPPABLE... Hits double digits yet again on Day 3 [Sat]... Thu 7.29 cr, Fri 11.67 cr, Sat 12.50 cr. Total: ₹31.46 cr. India biz... Eyes ₹ 45 cr [+/-] extended weekend, which is PHENOMENAL."

'Badhaai Ho' had a positive first day earning Rs 7.25 crore at the box office. It collected Rs 12.50 crore on Saturday and stands with the net collection of Rs 31.46 crore. As per industry experts, it is eyeing Rs 45 crore mark on the ticket counter.

The movie also stars Neena Gupta, Surekha Sikri and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, 'Badhaai Ho' tells about the story of a young married man who is embarrassed by his parents' sex life. 

It is great to see Ayushmann back with a film that subtly discusses issues that people refrain from talking in public. From 'Vicky Donor' in 2012 to 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' in 2015, from 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' to 'Shubh Mangal Savdhan', Ayushmann has been a part of coming-of-age films. Sanya, on the other hand, has had a great film journey so far. From 'Dangal' to 'Patakha' and now 'Badhaai Ho', the curly-haired beauty has proved that she is here to play very long innings.
