Priyanka Chopra to make Bollywood comeback with Kalpana Chawla biopic, to begin shooting soon

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra, who is busy shooting for last episodes of the third season of 'Quantico' in New York, will soon be back to the country for her upcoming project, which is belived to be a biopic on Kalpana Chawla.

The 35-year-old national award winner had recently announced on the social media that her next Bollywood project will happen soon as she will be back to India in a couple of days. 

As per media reports, Priyanka has been considering many scripts for her comeback in Bollywood. A daily report claimed that she has finally signed a project, which is a biopic on Kalpana Chawla and will start shooting next month onwards. However, there has been no official confirmation about the same.

Priyanka was last seen in Prakash Jha's 'Jai Gangaajal' in 2016 which bombed at the Box Office. 

Recently, there was a buzz that Priyanka will star opposite Aamir Khan in 'Salute'. However, all the speculations ended after Mr Perfectionist walked out of the project. According to latest updates, Shah Rukh Khan has taken up the project and the makers are yet to finalise the female lead for the film. 

In the meantime, Priyanka is expected to arrive in Mumbai next week.
