New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor is all gung-ho about his upcoming venture 'Jagga Jasoos' where he will share the screen space with former ladylove Katrina Kaif after a long hiatus.
'Jagga Jasoos' is hitting the screens on July 14, 2017, after much delay and the leading couple has been promoting the venture on all possible platforms.
Recently, superstar Salman Khan's much talked about film 'Tubelight' failed to create the kind of buzz which was expected out of it and the actor decided to pay back the distributors for their loss, reportedly.
So, when Ranbir was asked about the same, PTI quoted as saying, "It has been going on since my grandfather's (Raj Kapoor) time in 1950s... The style of making films where everyone makes money, not just the producers but also distributors and exhibitors. It is a healthy exercise. If someone loses money on something and you have made money out of it, it's good to compensate. But that depends on person to person and film to film."
He added, "Like when 'Mera Naam Joker' released, distributors incurred losses. So when 'Bobby' released, my grandfather gave a bigger share to the distributors than the exhibitors. Personally, if my film fails and I am making money out of it, then I will pay back the distributors."
The actor said during a special event of his upcoming 'Jagga Jasoos'. 'Jagga Jasoos' is helmed by Anurag Basu and is produced by Disney. The film is co-produced by Ranbir Kapoor and Basu.
