Sonakshi Sinha has only special appearance in Akshay Kumar-starrer Mission Mangal?

'Mission Mangal' has an impeccable leading cast that includes names like Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapse Pannu, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari among others.

Actor Akshya Kumar recently announced the entire cast of India's first space film 'Mission Mangal'. The film is set to go on floors next month and will be helmed by Jagan Shakti. Besides Akshay as the main lead, 'Mission Mangal' has an impeccable leading cast that includes names like Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapse Pannu, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen among others. In addition, Kashmira Pardeshi, who is all set to make her debut in Telugu film 'Narthanasala', has also been cast for the film. 

In the meantime, we hear that 'Mission Mangal', which will be a women-centric film, will have only special appearance of Sonakshi Sinha. Bollywood Bubble quoted a source saying that Sonakshi has barely 10-15 minutes of work in the entire film and hence, it's more like a cameo for her."

Co-incidentally, Sonakshi, who has been shooting for 'Kalank', has a smaller role in the film as compared to Alia. 'Dabangg 3' will also have her in not so impactful part while not much is known about her roles in 'Mogul', 'Batla House' and 'Ghoomketu' till now. 

So for now, Sonakshi doesn't have any full-fledged character role in her kitty and is only resorting to making special appearances in her film.
