I was honoured to sing for Rajesh: Manna Dey

Music legend Manna Dey, today, said he was greatly honoured to sing for Kaka.

Kolkata: Music legend Manna Dey, whose playback singing for Rajesh Khanna, particularly in `Anand`, touched the hearts of millions, today said he was greatly honoured to sing for the superstar.

"Rajesh was my friend. He was a nice person. I have been greatly honoured to sing for him," Manna told a Bengali TV channel over phone. Khanna, 69, died at his Mumbai residence today. PTI
