New Delhi: Xiaomi's latest flagship smartphone, or so to say phablet, Redmi Note 3 is here in India and is already creating waves.

Reportedly, 8.5 lakh people had registered for the first flash sale on March 9.

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker who started it all in India with the blockbuster success of Redmi 1, is guaranteed for another with the Redmi Note 3, it appears.

Here is why the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will work in India.

Display: The Redmi Note 3 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels which results to 403 ppi pixel density. Not many in the sub-Rs 10,000 smartphone comes with this high quality display.

Specs: It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset along with Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72. It is back by 2GB RAM for the 16GB internal memory variant and 3GB RAM for the 32GB internal memory variant.

Memory: The Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants of 16GB internal storage capacity and 32GB storage capacity.

Camera: A 16-megapixel along with flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Battery: The powerful 4050 mAh battery can ensure over a day's life on heavy usage while on average usage, it gives upto two full day's life.

Price: The best factor of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is the pricing – while the 16GB variant has been just priced at Rs 9,999, the 32GB variant has been priced at Rs 11,999.
