Courtney Love slams Nirvana ``reunion`` with Paul McCartney

Washington: Kurt Cobain`s former wife Courtney Love has taken to Facebook to once again voice her disapproval of the recent performance by the three surviving members of Nirvana and Paul McCartney at the 12-12-12 concert.

Many suggested he was filling in for the deceased Kurt Cobain as part of a Nirvana reunion – and one very vocal critic was none too happy to see McCartney playing with Cobain`s ex-bandmates on the Madison Square Garden stage, a leading daily has reported. Love told a website that she was "not amused" by McCartney`s involvement. During the show, McCartney took the lead for a new song called "Cut Me Some Slack" and generally received positive reviews. However, Love told the publication yesterday, "Look, if John [Lennon] were alive, it would be cool." Love also said that she was upset with Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic calling the performance a "reunion" because she says that Cobain was the heart and soul of the band. ANI
