London: Cheryl Cole has revealed that a duet song in her new album ‘A Million Lights’ is about the pain of a teenage relationship she had with an abusive junkie.
The 28-year-old said that her track Craziest Things — a duet with Will.i.am — gives an insight into how she was humiliated and bullied by a brute who left her feeling “depressed” and “poorly”, the Sun reported.
She sings: “We say the craziest things like I love you, hate you, don’t need you, f*** you.”
“I was in the worst relationship of my life,” she told the new issue of We Love Pop.
“We swore, we fought, we did everything it says in that song. People think it’s passionate and fun, but it’s aggressive and wrong. I was depressed and poorly. I had to end it for my health.,” she said.
The crooner’s admission is set to shock fans who thought it was a dig at ex Ashley Cole.
