Robert De Niro immortalized in cement at Chinese theatre in Hollywood

Robert De Niro’s status as a legendary actor was sealed on Monday at Hollywood’s famed TCL Chinese Theatre after he pressed his hands and feet into wet cement during a ceremony celebrating his long career.

Washington: Robert De Niro’s status as a legendary actor was sealed on Monday at Hollywood’s famed TCL Chinese Theatre after he pressed his hands and feet into wet cement during a ceremony celebrating the two-time Oscar winner’s long career. He joked that fellow actor Joe Pesci always said that he would end up with his feet in cement.
But he didn’t think this is what Pesci had in mind when he made the comment, he said.
He first began acting professionally in the 1960s, training with the likes of Stella Adler, before achieving stardom in the 70s with roles in films like ‘Taxi Driver’ and ‘The Deer Hunter,’ CBS News reported. De Niro won his first Oscar as a young Vito Corleone in 1974’s ‘The Godfather, Part II’ before going on to win another for 1980’s ‘Raging Bull.’ ANI
