Katy Perry turns goth in latest black get-up

London: Katy Perry went from ‘Teenage Dream’ to ‘Teenage Goth’ in her latest black ensemble as she performed at a US event.

She wore frock made from stars and stripes banner to perform at the event. The 27-year-old popstar looked dark and dangerous in a sheer, black, studded mini dress, sunglasses and skyscraper Louboutin heels, a leading daily has reported. The ‘California Gurls’ hitmaker showed off her dramatic purple hair and looked very serious as she went out in New York. Far less like her usual cartoon character persona, Perry rocked the glam goth look well. The newly-single performer has been promoting her upcoming 3D behind-the-scenes documentary, ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’. Scenes of Perry and sister Angela Hudson on slides at a waterpark were released as film previews. The film is set to show the real her, behind the layers of make-up and costumes and what it’s like to be a pop star, “warts and all.” “When you see the film, it’s a bit scary because there’s a lot of shots of me bloated with zits and being normal!” she said.
