Govt has full confidence in Chief Economic Advisor: FM Jaitely

New Delhi: Extending his full support behind the Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely said on Wednesday that government does not share Subramanian Swamy's view, and has full confidence in the Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian.

Subramanian Swamy, on Tuesday had attacked the Chief Economic Advisor in tweets, casting doubts on his credentials. Swamy had tweeted that CEA should be " sacked" as he had once urged USA to fight dispute on IPR against India in WTO.

Swamy also tweeted implying that CEA was a Congress agent responsible for the party's belligerence on the Goods and Service Tax in Parliament.
