London: John Travolta’s lawyer has dismissed accusations that the two alleged sexual assault victims of the star had been paid “hush money” in return for backing out of their legal actions.
“Not one penny has been paid,” the Daily Star quoted Los Angeles attorney Martin Singer as saying.
“Nor do we have any intention to pay any money for these ridiculous and false claims.”
After the two men made their allegations, their lawyer Okorie Okorocha claimed he was being contacted daily by people from “virtually every American state” making similar claims against the 58-year-old star.
Travolta, who has denied all the charges, was further rocked last week when Vikki Lizzi, the former fiancee of Jeff Conaway, his co-star in the 1978 hit musical Grease, claimed he tried to perform a sex act on his pal while he was sleeping.
