LA radio show hosts suspended for calling Whitney Houston ‘crack ho’

Two radio hosts in Los Angeles have been suspended after they called Whitney Houston a ‘crack ho’ on air.

New York: Two radio hosts in Los Angeles have been suspended after they called Whitney Houston a ‘crack ho’ on air. KFI AM 640 Radio’s John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou apologized for their words, and said they accepted their 10-day suspension.
“We made a mistake. We used language that was inappropriate and we sincerely apologize to our listeners and to the family of Ms Houston,” a leading daily ahs quoted Kobylt as saying in a statement.
They had made the ‘crack ho’ comments during an on-air discussion in the wake of Houston’s death last Saturday. “At some point you’re just sick of it all, and so is everybody else in the industry. All her friends and hangers-on; everybody who knew had to deal with her,” Kobylt was quoted as saying. “It’s like, ‘Ah Jesus… here comes the crack ho again, what’s she gonna do? Ah, look at that - she’s doin’ handstands next to the pool. Very good, crack ho… ‘ After a while, everybody’s exhausted. And then you find out she’s dead. It’s like, ‘Really? Took this long?” he said. The station issued a statement calling the radio host’s words “insensitive and inappropriate... KFI management does not condone, support or tolerate statements of this kind.” KFI says they will return to the air on February 27. ANI
