Nifty ends at 7671, Sensex rises 348 points tracking global markets

New Delhi: Sensex recoup intraday loses and posted biggest intra-day gains tracking global markets and closed up 348.32 points or 1.4 percent at 25022.16.

The Nifty also closed up 116.20 points or 1.5 percent at 7671.40.

Hindalco, Adani Ports, BHEL, Bharti Airtel and Wipro were top gainers while Lupin, Dr Reddy's Labs, Cipla and M&M were losers in the Sensex

The investors at home remained cautious ahead of the March quarter results season that starts on Friday with Infosys’s results which are likely to be tepid.
