Upfront Sonam Kapoor shies away from posing with ‘boyfriend’

Mumbai: She maybe upfront about her opinions on people and the film industry at large, but when it comes to relationship and matters of the heart, Sonam Kapoor seems to shy away from the prying media. The actress who is reportedly seeing her ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ director Puneet Malhotra for the past three years, seems reluctant to reveal her relationship status. So much so, that when the couple arrived together recently to watch Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ at a special screening, the duo refused to pose together for the paparazzi present at the venue. While Sonam scurried inside and refused to pose, Puneet obliged the cameramen and posed alone. Sonam insisted that she should be snapped alone and not with Puneet even though they arrived at the venue together in the same car. Earlier in an interview, Sonam had stated that she never discusses her relationship with her parents. While we understand that it can be awkward to discuss your boyfriend with your parents Sonam, what we fail to get is why arrive with ‘good friend’ Puneet and refuse to pose with him?
