REVEALED: `Bigg Boss` game plan

Mumbai: Well, the fifth season of `Bigg Boss` has stumped one and all by going overboard with its shrewd tactics and sleazy antics. In a startling revelation, what comes forth is that Mahek Chahal’s eviction and consequent re-entry into the house was a planned one. Talking to a popular website, a source revealed that Shonali Nagrani, Laxmi Tripathi and Mahek Chahal stood a strong chance in making it back into the infamous house as a wild card entrant. But Salman Khan’s alleged girl Mahek was the only one who had to make it. “This was done as the makers were keen on having more contestants inside the show for the finale, to make it look good and crowded. So, when they realised that the wild card contest may not materialise with Shonali backing out, the show closed the voting lines after the nominations on Monday evening to save an extra contestant inside. But the makers did not give up and kept convincing Shonali. Finally, the makers and Shonali zeroed down to a barter deal,” a website quoted its source as saying. “The deal was that Shonali will get in the wild card entry contest and the makers will give her a chance to co-host the ‘Aapka Farmaan’ eviction episode on New Year`s eve, along with Sanjay Dutt. Apparently, Shonali discussed this barter deal with Laxmi, who knew about this entire exercise to make Mahek’s re-entry look credible on Bigg Boss,” the source added. Even Shonali confirmed her plan to co-host the show along with Sanjay Dutt on the New Year’s eve episode to the website. She said, “Yes, I am co-hosting the show with Sanjay Dutt on the New Year’s Eve. It is a fantastic feeling to share screen space with Sanjay, he is a superb host and a nice man. For now, I just don’t know one thing that if I will get a chance to interact with the inmates. I am craving to do that as well. I think I am taking Salman Khan’s place for one episode (laughs).” Well we are sure this revelation will certainly provoke followers of the show to wonder if Mahek will emerge as the winner! Guess only time will tell.
