Apple, Reliance to be partners now; VoLTE iPhones to work on Reliance Jio 4G network

New Delhi: In the latest, Apple Inc. and Reliance Industries have agreed on a plan to work on a long-term relationship that will include supply of VoLTE iPhones which will work on Reliance Jio's latest 4G network.

The decision was taken at a meeting between Apple CEO Tim Cook and RIL officials led by Mukesh Ambani's son Akash Ambani as per a report published in the Economic Times.

The report also claims that Cook has already given his nod to a strategic relationship with Jio.
