New Delhi: While the cricketing ties between India and Pakistan have been halted for quite some time now, cricket fans from across the globe have witnessed some quality action in the past.
Time and again, cricketers have shared some interesting ancedotes from what is regarded as cricket's biggest rivalry.
During an event, Sehwag shared an incident with Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. It was a special event since cricketers from both the countries were present.
Narrating the incident, Sehwag said, "We were playing against Pakistan. Shoaib Akhtar was bowling. He was tired of watching me bat. So he thought I will be out if he abused me. He started bowling bouncers at me from round the wicket. After every bouncer, he would come to me and ask me to hit a hook shot. When I realised that he will be bowlilng only bouncers, I went and told him that your father (Sachin Tendulkar) is standing at the non-striker's end ask him to do so. In the next over when he bowled a bouncer to Tendulkar, he was hit for a six. I went to him and said Beta Beta hota hai, baap baap hota hai."
Sehwag and Shoaib also had some healthy banters inside the commentary box during ICC World Twenty20 2016, where the Nawab of Nazafgarh made his commentary debut.
