Bal Diwas or Children's Day is celebrated every year on November 14. The day is dedicated to children and the spirit of childhood. Children's Day is celebrated in the country on Chacha Nehru's birthday as a tribute to our first Prime Minister. Interestingly, it was established as a holiday only in 1964.
