Shocking! 11-year-old dies in Delhi after being beaten up by classmates

New Delhi: An 11-year-old student died after being allegedly beaten up by his fellow classmates on Friday.

Vishal who was a student of class 5 in a school in north west Delhi's Rohini died at the Safdarjang Hospital on Saturday night.

Earlier, he was admitted to the Ambedkar Hospital, however, later he was referred to Safdarjung following severe pain in his stomach.

According to Vishal's parents, the 11-year-old did not reveal the matter to them after returning home.

It was on Saturday when he complained of stomach pain and informed them about a fight that he had with two-three of his classmates over a petty issue.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Rishi Pal said there were no external injury marks on the boy's body as per the medical examination, reported NDTV.

However, on the request of Vishal's father, a medical board is likely to be formed to conduct an autopsy to find out the exact cause of the death.
