Art of Living's World Culture Festival 2016 event aims at spreading the ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – 'The World is one Family', by laying an emphasis on peaceful co-existence.

New Delhi: Renowned spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar kick-started the 3-day mega event -World Culture Festival 2016 in Delhi and received many praises from people from all walks of life. The cultural extravaganza will last from March 11 to 13, 2016. The mega event will witness artists, musicians and dancers from across the globe participating with utmost zest and enthusiasm.

Vedic Chants by 1000 Veda Pandits

A group of trained Sanskrit scholars with their students will recite peace prayers from the Vedas, the world's most ancient scriptures.

Guru Puja Chanting

15000 Art of Living volunteers will chant an ancient Indian prayer honouring wisdom from all traditions.

Nadaswaram

40 musicians will play the Nadaswaram, the world's loudest non-brass acoustic instrument. Tis auspicious tradition is prevalent in temples across Southern India.

Odissi Ensemble

1000 artists will perform this classical dance form from Odisha, India.

Latin fire for Peace

500 performers bring the rhythm and music of Latin America to the World Culture Festival.


Panthi Folk Dance

1000 artists from Chhattisgarh, India will perform this devotional acrobatic dance to songs conveying the spirit of renunciation.


Filipino Dance

200 dancers from the Philippines will perform their traditional dance.

Maruni Dance

200 dancers will perform the oldest and most popular dance form from Sikkim, India.

Russian Dance

100 artists from Russia will present the beautiful dance to the traditional folk songs.

Kathi Folk Dance
500 artists from Madhya Pradesh, the central state of India  will perform this powerful form of folk theatre, portraying worship  of the Mother Divine.

Haryanavi Dance
1000 dancers from Haryana, India will perform the traditional folk dance of the state.
Belarussian Dance 
50 artists from Belarus will perform the folk dance.

Middle East Performance
200 artists will put  together an enchanting performance combining dance forms from the Middle eastern countries.
Chinese Song
A vocal rendition in Chinese by 1000 singers.
Hungarian Dance
50 artists will perform the folk dance of Hungary. 
Punjabi Bhangra
1000 energetic dancers will perform this popular folk dance from Punjab, the colourful North Indian State.
