Just as the festive spirit of Navratri has gripped the nation, we thought of telling you something very interesting about the nine-day long Goddess Durga festival. During these nine days of fun, frolic and devotion, you can even wear clothes depending upon the colour which is specifically marked for each Nav Durga day.

 

Many believe in wearing the same coloured dresses as is designated for each day during Navratri. Nonetheless, you can always fold your hands and pray to mother goddess, who will take away all your worries and bless your pure soul. Chant Durga Durga!

Day 1

Pratipada—Grey (Shailputri Maa)

Day 2

Dwitya—Orange (Brahmacharini Mata)

Day 3

Tritiya—White (Chandraghanta Mata)

Day 4

Chaturthi—Red (Kushmanda Maa)

Day 5

Panchami—Navy Blue (Skanda Mata)

Day 6

Shashthi—Yellow (Katyayani Devi)

Saptami—Green (Kaal Ratri)
