New Delhi: Making a Bollywood debut isn't easy at all, even if you are a star kid. Recently, heartthrob Shahid Kapoor revealed what all he went through before signing his first flick.

“Everyone thinks that he is Pankaj Kapur’s son, so isko toh break mil gaya hoga (He must have got a break). But I have been rejected from 100 auditions," Sasha told Hindustan Times. 

He added, "sometimes, I didn’t have money to eat food or to even go to the auditions. I have lived that life, and I don’t like talking about it. But that is my reality.”

On the professional front, the 'Haider' star will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming release 'Rangoon'. The fil is expected to release on February 27. It also features Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan in key roles.
