New Delhi: Bad news for all those who wholeheartedly followed one of the oldest shows of all times – CID. The show which kicked off in 1997 and is one of the longest running shows in India, will not be telecast for some time now.

A report in TOI suggests that the show may be headed for a short break. However, this news comes as a respite to earlier reports that suggested that the show will stop airing on the channel altogether.

According to the report, Shivaji Satam – who essays the role of ACP Pradyuman said that the show is only taking a short break. Although he is not aware of the reason for the show going off-air for a while now, he says that it will resume soon.
