Oops! Who called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan a 'budhiya'?

New Delhi: This bit of news may actually surprise the readers. The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently shooting for the biopic titled 'Sarbjit' where she plays Dalbir Kaur, the sister of the Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh who was convicted on charges of terrorism and spying in Pakistan.

According to TOI, recently when Ash was in Delhi, shooting at the famous India Gate, someone from the crowd uttered, “Yeh Aishwarya budhiya ke get-up mein kyu hai”. Well, this can actually be taken as a compliment because she was dressed up according to her character of an aged woman.

TOI originally attributed the report to Delhi Times. This certainly indicates that the beautiful Aishwarya gets into the skin of her character.
