Mumbai: Sex is not just about fulfilling one’s basic need but a lot beyond it. The act of indulging in a sexual relationship has a lot to with what a person things, how much it is important to him, the amount of pleasure he or she derives from it and most importantly, how a person perceives sex- as a basic need or a want (lust).

In any case, to indulge in sex, one needs the involvement of another person. In a committed relationship, a man and a woman have a sex life and it’s natural for them to get intimate.

But there are individuals, either single or in a committed relationship, who indulge in sex with a new person just for one night.

More often than not, men outnumber women when it comes to one-night stands.
