New Delhi: As the name suggests, it is packed with veggies which are not only delicious but nutritious too. The stuffing of bell peppers, lettuce and various other vegetables inside toasted bread slices is all you need to make a club sandwich recipe. To make the stuffing more delicious, the stuffing also has mayo and crispy potato slices. Club sandwich not only delights your taste buds but also keeps you full and energized for a long time.

Ingredients of Club Sandwich

  • 6 multi-grain bread
  • 3 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1/4 sliced,chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 chopped,sliced capsicum (green pepper)
  • 1 medium shredded carrot
  • salt 
  • 1 medium sliced tomato
  • lettuce leaf 
  • 2 tablespoon veg mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 sliced,chopped yellow bell pepper
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • black pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium sliced,boiled potato

How to make Club Sandwich

Take a pan and heat some oil. Fry the potato slice until it turns slightly brown. You can add some salt if you want. Take out the fried potatoes in a plate and keep it aside. Now, saute garlic and other veggies. Do not saute tomatoes with these veggies. After 2-3 minutes, keep the veggies on a bowl and add salt.

Now, take some bread slices and toast them. Afterwards, spread mayo on 3 slices and place lettuce on one slice of bread. Add potato slices and tomato slices. Add pepper if required.

To prepare the second slice of the bread, add lettuce leaf along with other veggies to it. Take the last mayo bread slice and use it to cover the sandwich. Using a knife or a cutter, cut the sandwich into two halves and serve it with dip. You can also grill the sandwiches if you want as it can give a unique taste to your sandwich.
