Manohar Parrikar back in Goa after treatment, presents state budget
Parrikar was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital after he complained of food poisoning.

Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar arrived in Goa on Thursday after he was discharged from Mumbai's Lilavati hospital where he was hospitalised for the last few days. The Goa CM had been in the hospital since February 15 for a pancreas-related ailment. The CM landed at Goa's Dabolim International Airport at around 11.40 am.
The CM reached the state assembly at around 2 pm and presented the budget. He is also likely to address a press conference later in the day.

Parrikar was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital after he complained of food poisoning. There had been reports that he may have to be flown to the USA for treatment. Owing to the rumours, the hospital had to issue a statement saying the CM was doing well.
''It has been brought to our notice, various malicious and misleading reports/rumours are floating around in the electronic/print media with regard to the health of Hon Chief Minister of Goa. We categorically deny all such rumours,'' the hospital had said in the statement. The hospital had further stated that the BJP leader is was responding well to the treatment.
The Chief Minister's Office has throughout maintained that he was suffering from a pancreas-related ailment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Mumbai to inaugurate 'Magnetic Maharashtra' Global Investors Summit in suburban Bandra, had also visited the Lilavati Hospital to enquire about Parrikar's health.
