Nadiad in Kheda district is one of the 182 constituencies in the state.

In 2012 assembly polls, BJP candidate Pankajkumar Vinubhai Desai won the seat with 75335 votes.

Gujarat recorded an estimated 68.70 percent voter turnout in the second and final phase of polling for 93 Assembly seats.

68 percent polling was recorded on December 9 in the first phase of polls in 89 Assembly seats in Gujarat.
