The meteorological department has forecast more heavy rains in the city till Tuesday.
Earlier today, there were reports of traffic snarls at several parts in the city. Train services too were hit due to the continuous heavy showers today. As a precautionary measure, the trains on all the three lines are running slowly resulting in the delay in services.
In Vasai, almost 400 people got stuck at Mithagar due to severe waterlogging in the area. However, they were later evacuated by the rescue team.
