Army foils infiltration bid in J&K, militant killed

Srinagar: The Indian Army on Friday foiled an infiltration bid at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir`s Kupwara district, an official said.

The infiltration bid was foiled in Machil sector of Kupwara district, a defence spokesperson said in a statement, adding that one militant was killed during the gunfight and a search operation was still on in the area.
