Two guards dead as terrorists attack cash van in J&K

The security has been beefed up in the area after the attack.

SRINAGAR: Two guards of a cash van succumbed to injuries on Monday after terrorists opened fire on their vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian.

The attack took place in Kralchak area of the Shopian district.

According to ANI, the security guards had fired in the air to repel the attack.

However, it was not immediately clear if the terrorists have managed to decamp with the currency notes.
