Police on Friday found five metal containers containing explosives under a railway bridge in Kerala's Malappuram district.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police on Friday found five metal containers containing explosives under a railway bridge in Kerala's Malappuram district.

The explosives look similar to landmines, police said. The containers have been sent for further investigation.

The incident took place at Kuttippuram Railway bridge in the Bharathapuzha area.

The explosives transporting it to arrange camp for further investigation.

The containers were found abandoned under the bridge following which the police were informed.
