Beggars are no-longer just beggars! One uses ATM card swipe machine in Hyderabad - Video

Hyderabad: In what can be described as ''unprecedented'', a beggar in Hyderabad was seen carrying an ATM card swipe machine for begging.

A video circulating on the Internet, shows a beggar approaching a lady seated in her car and asking for money. When the woman said she was out of cash, the beggar's reply left the lady completely shocked.

The beggar said she can use his own chip and pin machine to donate him money.

There are 4,13,670 beggars - 2.2 lakh males and 1.91 lakh females.

West Bengal with 81,244 beggars top the list followed by 65,835 in Uttar Pradesh, 30,218 in Andhra Pradesh, 29,723 in Bihar and 28,695 in Madhya Pradesh.

Of all the Union Territories, Delhi records the largest number of vagrants — 2,187 followed by Chandigarh with 121.
