While the family members of the deceased, identified as Pooran Singh, alleged that he was murdered, the police are yet to arrive at a conclusion as there was no injury mark on his body.

New Delhi: A 38-year-old autorickshaw driver was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a vacant house in south Delhi's Neb Sarai area, police said today.

While the family members of the deceased, identified as Pooran Singh, alleged that he was murdered, the police are yet to arrive at a conclusion as there was no injury mark on his body.

But the probability of murder cannot be ruled out as the door of the house was found latched from outside. Singh's body has been sent for postmortem and the report is awaited, a senior police official said.

When Singh did not return home till late last night, his wife lodged a missing complaint, following which a search operation was launched and Singh's body was found in the house where he and his friends use to gather.

Singh lived with his family in Sangam Vihar colony. His wife alleged that Singh was killed by his friends over some monetary dispute, the official said.
