DDCA row: AAP to file police complaint against Arun Jaitley

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected file a complaint against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over alleged irregularities in Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) during his 13-year-old tenure its chief, reports said on Monday.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government has also decided to set up a commission of inquiry under chairmanship of former Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium to probe alleged irregularities including financial bunglings in the capital's cricket body DDCA.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a shot in the arm after former India player and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kirti Azad on Sunday accused the DDCA of massive financial irregularities and urged the enforcement directorate to probe the issue.
The former cricketer alleged that the DDCA had given contracts to fake companies, paying them crores of rupees in cash and had fudged auditing.
Kejriwal has demanded that he Jaitley must resign or be removed from his post as union finance minister in order to enable an independent probe into DDCA matters.
Jaitley is expected to file a defamation case against Kejriwal, Kirti Azad and five leaders of the Aam AAP on Monday.
