Faizabad, UP: Hashim Ansari, the main litigant in Babri Masjid case, has come out in support of a total ban on beef in the country.

As per a report in the Navbharat Times, the 95-year-old also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he is doing a “good job.”

There should be peace in the country and the PM is making efforts to reign in hardline people, he added.
Hitting out at Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, Ansari said the Yadav chieftain never sticks to his words and that's why Muslims have understood his politics.

Ansari added that Yadav has no other option left than to join hands with Modi.
Azam Khan also faced Ansari's ire. Khan's venomous rants is creating a wedge between Hindus and Muslims.
“He is not a well wisher of Muslims...infact, he is harming Muslims,” he added.
