BJP issues show cause notice to Kirti Azad, doesn't mention DDCA

New Delhi: In a major development, BJP on Thursday issued a show cause notice to Kirti Azad asking him why should you not be expelled from the party.

The party has sought Azad's reply within 10 days.

Interestingly, the show cause notice doesn't mention DDCA.

Earlier, cracking the whip, BJP had suspended its MP Kirti Azad, who has been leading a campaign against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on alleged corruption in DDCA, charging him with indulging in anti-party activities and accusing him of "colluding" with Congress and AAP to bring it into "disrepute".
