A boy and a girl were tied to a tree after the girl's relatives spotted them together in Banswara district of Rajasthan, police said on Saturday.

Jaipur: A boy and a girl were tied to a tree after the girl's relatives spotted them together in Banswara district of Rajasthan, police said on Saturday.

The incident occurred in Umbada village under Loharia police station area.

The boy, aged 20 years, and the girl were caught moving around by the relatives of the girl following which they took the duo to the village and allegedly tied them to a tree for nearly two hours, police said.

Thereafter, the boy's family was informed and they reached the spot and freed the duo, they said.

The boy on Saturday lodged a case against five persons under relevant sections, the police said, adding that no one has been arrested in this connection so far.
