A 2010 batch student of Shamrock Senior Secondary School, situated in sector 69, Vanya Jauhal has been selected on the position of a software engineer for Google's Sydney office, Australia at a pay package of Rs 40 lakh per annum.
Vanya has credited her success to her teachers and parents.
After the news got out that she’s got a pre-placement offer from the tech giant, the phone at her household in Mohali hasn’t stopped ringing.

After her schooling, Vanya got herself enrolled in IIT Hyderabad and got her professional degree in the year 2016.
She was offered the position at Google at the time she was still persuing her degree course in Hyderabad.
According to Vanya, another reason of her career success is Shemrock School. She specially thanked Parneet Sohal Principal, Shemrock School for making her base in excellent manner that she was capable of competing and excelling at global level.
She was recently honoured by her school for achieveing the position at Google co.
While her mother is a journalist at a media company, Vanya's father is a colonel in the Indian Army.
