Drone startup OpenRov developes fast underwater exploration robots

New Delhi: Job done. OpenROV, an underwater robotic startup developed a super fast robot equipped with HD cameras that can be used for deep sea exploration.

Trident, is a remote control based drone is one of the quickest underwater drone till date, claims the company.It can dive up to 100 meters and can change direction without pitching over high or low speed.

Many scientists believe that it can be extremely beneficial exploring a sunken ship due to its quickness and high precision ability.

One of the coolest thing about Trident is it can stream live underwater video to a monitor during exploration, according to TechCrunch.

Initially, the company OpenRov has sold 3,000 first-generation submarines, which is able to navigate below the surface connected by a thin cable and monitored by a software running on smartphone or a tablet.
