Mini trucks were standing outside Shivpal's 7, Kalidas Marg, official residence to shift the belongings to his house. His official residence is just next to that of his nephew and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Earlier in the morning, in an indication that he does not want to be taken back in the state government, Shivpal's staff began removing his ministerial name plate from his official residence.
After vacating his official residence, Shivpal rushed to Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav's residence in the city.
The development comes two days after he was stripped off his Cabinet berth by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Earlier today, Shivpal while addressing a press conference had declines reports of any tiff going within the party and maintained 'everything is fine'.
"There's no controversy in the party, everything s good," he said.
On Wednesday, another Samajwadi Party leader Pawan Pandey was expelled from the party for six years over his alleged clash with MLC Ashu Malik.
Pandey, said to be close to Akhilesh Yadav camp, had allegedly slapped Ashu Malik, a Shivpal camp supporter, at the UP CM's residence.
"I have been targetted and an environment has been created against me. Pawan Pandey slapped me twice at UP CM Akhilesh Yadav's residence. I don't blame anybody for it, but I will exercise my constitutional right to lodge an FIR," Ashu Malik, who is also a member of the Legislative Assembly, said.
