Gopalganj DM eats mid-day meal cooked by widow, intends to change people's mindset
The residents of Gopalganj had barred Sunita Kunwar, a 36-year-old widow, from cooking mid-day meals at the school because they felt she was a “bad omen”. To intervene, Rahul Kumar, the District Magistrate of Gopalganj, decided to have lunch at the school along with school children to break the superstition.
