Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - Ranbir Kapoor’s intimate scenes removed? ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’!

Mumbai: It’s indeed a nightmare for Karan Johar! The producer-director wouldn’t have ever dreamt of coming across so much trouble ahead of the release of his directorial project Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma besides Fawad Khan from Pakistan.

The trailer of the film had raised eyebrows owing to the steamy scenes between Ash and Ranbir, who have been paired opposite each other for the first time.

Subsequently, the film landed in controversy for having Pakistani actor Fawad on board after the IMPPA had urged all its members to stop engaging with artists and technicians from the other side of the border until bi-lateral tensions between India and Pakistan die down.

And now, the latest we heard is that three intimate scenes from the film have been removed post censor board screening.

According to a report in DNA, “Karan Johar personally attended the censor viewing of his film. He wanted to make sure not a single moment was tampered with. However the Censor Board members, while appreciating the film’s mature theme and high level of aesthetics, objected to some steamy moments between Aishwarya and Ranbir.”

Karan, however, put his views forward to retain the scenes in question but had to give in eventually.

So does that mean we will get to see less of romance between Ash and Ranbir?

Well, let’s wait and watch.
