Usain Bolt awaits results of coronavirus test, goes into self-isolation

Eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt has said that he is awaiting results of his coronavirus test, after there were reports of him being diagnosed with the novel coronavirus that continues to threaten the entire world.
According to Daily Mail, a radio station in Jamaica 'Nationwide90fm' has stated that Bolt has been tested positive for the deadly virus and will spend time in self-isolation as a result.
The 34-year-old legendary sprinter took to his official Twitter handle on Monday and addressed the reports by posting a video of him, confirming that he had undergone COVID-19 test a few days back but awaiting the report.
Bolt further informed that he has self-isolated himself at home as of now, but continues to remain asymptomatic.
'I'm trying to be responsible so I'm going to stay in for me and my friends. Also, I have no symptoms. I'm going to quarantine myself and wait to see what the protocol is. Until then, I'm quarantined by myself and just taking it easy. Be safe out there," Bolt said.
"Stay Safe my people," the legendary sprinter wrote along with the video of him.

The news of the fastest man on earth testing positive for the pandemic came a few days after his 34th birthday bash in Jamaica. On August 21, Bolt's birthday party was also attended by England and Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.
Besides Sterling, West Indies swashbuckling batsman Chris Gayle and Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey also attended the bash.
A number of pictures and videos from the bash had also gone viral on social media wherein the guests could be seen shakings legs without maintaining social distancing or wearing masks.
On a professional front, the sprint king is a world record holder in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay.Bolt is the only sprinter in the world to win Olympic 100 meters and 200m meters titles at three consecutive Olympics (2008, 2012 and 2016).
Besides this, Bolt is also an eleven-time World Champion, having also clinched consecutive World Championship 100 m, 200 m and 4 × 100 metres relay gold medals from 2009 to 2015.
Bolt bid adieu to track after sustaining an injury at the 2017 World Championships.
