Akshay Kumar responds to fan’s ‘please close the tap’ tweet

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar had shared a cute video on his daughter Nitara’s fifth birthday on Monday. We could see the little girl applying shaving cream on her father’s face as he gleefully let her do so. The video garnered much love and adoration from Twitter users but there was one fan who wanted the actor to ‘close the tap’!

Well, the video had sounds of water running through in the background. It seemed as if the tap at the sink was left open. So a fan, who while appreciating the video advocated the actor to ‘close the tap’ and ‘save water’.

Well, Akshay was recently a part of a film titled Toilet: Ek Prem Katha that highlighted the importance of hygienic sanitation facility in the households in rural India. It also spoke about the ill-effects of open defecation and lack of toilets in homes.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha directed by Shree Narayan Singh was inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sudhir Pandey too were an integral part of the film.
