Salman Khan visits ailing Vinod Khanna, veteran actor now stable!

New Delhi: The social media saw a rather frail and unwell looking picture of veteran actor Vinod Khanna getting viral yesterday leaving all his fans in a state of shock. Soon afterwards, there was a huge response from the industry wallahs showing concern about the legendary actor's health condition.

According to BollywoodLife.com, superstar Salman Khan, who recently got back from a family vacation in Maldives paid a late night visit to meet Vinod Khanna at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital, Mumbai.

The report mentions that after the disturbing picture of the legendary actor went viral, Salman, who has done several films with him in the past decided to pay a midnight visit to check on the veteran's health.

Besides Salman, Irrfan Khan too expressed his disbelief and shock on hearing the news. "For me, he and Dharmendra sahaab are who most handsome actors of Hindi film industry. Today, when I saw his picture, I was so shocked! I was very shocked to see his latest picture. If I can help in any way, I will do that, I am ready to donate my organ if needed. I want to pray to almightily so that he can get well soon”, he said.

Adding, "I am very upset to know that Vinod Khannaji is not well. I wish him a speedy recovery”.

Meanwhile, IANS quoted the  hospital spokesperson as saying, “He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well-wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy.”

Vinod Khanna's son Rahul told IANS on Tuesday: "Dad was hospitalised on Friday (March 31) for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he's doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon."

Rahul added that the family is "touched by all the good wishes pouring in".

Vinod Khanna, who is a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab, was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai.

The great actor was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Dilwale' (2015) where he played his father on-screen.
