New Delhi: Bollywood's generation next actress Sonakshi Sinha will next be playing a journalist in 'Noor'. The film is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi, You're Killing Me!
Sona baby at a special event for the film was quizzed over several things. When asked what questions she, as a journalist, would ask her father Shatrughan Sinha and actor Salman Khan, she said, "If I had to ask my dad a question, I would ask something to which he won't say 'khamosh', reports PTI.
"To Salman, I would ask the same question everyone is asking him for years," hinting when he would get hitched.
"If I were a journalist, I would ask questions regarding an artist's work, the amount of hard work that goes behind a film is often not known. As an artist I would like them to see what kind of hard work is put into it," she added.
'Noor' is helmed by Sunhil Sippy and is slated to hit the screens on April 21, 2017.
"It was a great experience. It was great to be on the other side of the mike, behind the camera. But of course, the kind of journalist I play in the film is not the kind of journalist my character wants to be," she says.
"But it was a great experience. I am glad I got to play this character," Sonakshi says.
