Los Angeles: Veteran Hollywood actor, Tom Hanks, 61, comments on the ongoing waves of allegations of sexual harassment against prominent men in the entertainment industry.

He says, "I am not surprised by it. There's a lot of reasons people do this for a living. Making a movie is a life experience that can create an awful lot of joy...That's the good stuff. The bad stuff can happen in a movie as well. There are some people who go into this business because they get off on having power...There are predators absolutely everywhere."

The "Captain Phillips" star Hanks doesn't feel that it is late to change things and learn how to behave in society. "It's never too late to learn new behaviours. And that's a responsibility of anybody who wants to obey a code of professional ethics," he added.

Recently, host of the "Today", Matt Lauer fired from his position after a colleague complained about his misbehaviour. Earlier, instances of assault allegations include stars like Harvey Weinstein, Brett Ratner, Louis C.K., and Jeremy Piven.
